Prasanthi Seva - 12.08.2010

A team comprising of 35 active workers of our Samithy have left on 12th August, 2010 led by Narahari Subudhi to Prasanthi Nilayam for August Prasanthi Seva. The team is expected back by 1st week of September, 2010.

Bhajan Training at Balidiha village

By grace of Swami, there was a Bhajan training programme at Baldiha village on 18th July 2010 conducted the youth activists, Sitakanta Beura, Narahari Subudhi, Dasarathi Prusty, Pradeep Das. About 25 girls and boys were trained of chanting Omkarams, Suprabhatam and singing of bhajans, arati, sarvadharma prayer and other mantras during the bhajan.

Sai Symphony at Paradip 31st July and 01st August 2010

The Sai symphony team headed by Dr.Brahmananda Hota was at Paradip imparting Bhajan training to the youths of districts of Jagatsinghpur, Jajpur, Cuttack and Kendrapara. About 160 participants had participated in this Zonal Bhajan training programme 31st July and 01st August, 2010 at Mandir.

18.04.2010 - Monthly Medical Seva

On 18th, monthly medical seva was carried out at Biju Memorial Hospital at 0600 hrs. Many youths and active workers had participated in the seva.

14.02.2010 - Seva work at Jagannath Temple, Madhuban

By Swami's grace, A seva work was held at Jagannath Temple at Madhuban, washing the floor an cleaning the Mandir and mandir premises. The deovtees had rendered the service from 3 PM to 6 PM. A total number of 23 brothers and sisters had participated. Sairam.

10.02.2010 - Wednesday Bhajan

Wednesday family bhajan was held at the residence of Sri Rajib Lochan Sahoo, Madhuban.

07.02.2010 - Public Satsang

By grace of Swami, there was a public bhajan and satsang at Nuabazar Bachelor Barrack area (near the residene of Sri Biswajit Mishra). Prof Bhimsen Dash had graced the satsang where he spoke about infinite glory of our beloved mother Sai.

12.02.2010 - Mahashivaratri

By Swami's grace Mahashivaratri was celebrated on 12.02.2010. Besides Nagara Sankirtan, Sodasopachar Puja, Prasanti Flag hoisting, brothers and sisters of our samithy visited various shaiva temples of Paradip viz. Tarinigada, PPL, Balidia, Sector-21. 12 hrs Akhand Bhajan began at 6 PM and ended on 13.02.201o at 6 AM. During the night session, most of the youths were present to sing the glory of Lord Saishiva.

26.01.2010 : Monthly Samithy Youth meet

At 4 PM, the monthly youth meet was held at mandir. Besides Bhajan, Stotra chanting, Likhita Japa, there was a discussion on participation of youths in various youth activities. Youth coordinator and others were requested to pursuade the youths to participate in Samithy and youth activities.

07.02.2010 : Bhajan training at Diha bhajan mandali

The Bhajan training was conducted at village Diha to guide and train the leading bhjan singers especially the BV students. It was held from 0900 hrs to 1200 hrs and most ly attended by the BV children, Gurus, youths from Diha, Biswali, Mangarajpur etc.

24.01.2010 - Jagatsinghpur dist. office bearer meeting

The Jagatsinghpur district office bearer meeting was held at Dhaltangagarh reserve forest where the action plan for 2010 for the Jagatsinghpur district was chalked out. The honourable state president of Prof. Harikrishna Dash had graced the occassion.

16.01.2010 - Annual Day of Mangarajapur RHC

9th Annual day celebration of Mangarajapur Rural Health Centre cum cyclone shelter centre was celebrated with the health camp attended by Prof. Dr.Harishchandra Mohanty, Dr.Nikhil Kumar Mohanty and other doctors from Cuttack. Around 600 patients were treated and prescribed medicines in the camp.Nagar Parikrama was part of the programme. In the evening beside the bhajan a meeting and cultural programme was held. Dr.Damodar Rout, local MLA and Bibhu Prasad Tarai, local MP attended the function.

14.01.2010 - Makara Sankranti

This sacred day considered to be the 1st day in the calender of Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisation. Acordingly the activew workers and the members had participated in the oath taking ceremony. The important office bearers of the samithy were unanimously selected :

Spiritual Coordinator : Shri Narahari Subudhi.
Youth Coordinator : Shri Himnashu Patnaik .
